Just wanted to say thanks for the great software. Every once in a while when I think I have a problem or have a suggestion I head to the forum and see if anybody else is on the same page I am. Nearly every time I've found my answer. You are always the one to answer them and you never tell people what they want to hear just the facts. If somebody came up with a better electronic logbook tomorrow (not likely) and it was free, I'd stay with you guys. Oh and when NC Software goes public some day, let me know! Pilots are like dogs, we're very loyal. Keep it up. Thank you!

I just downloaded a trial version of the Logbook Pro standard edition and am very pleased with the results. I was up very late last evening entering some data and was impressed at the simplicity of the format. I will be purchasing the software within the next few days. As I begin the next phase of my pilot training earning my Instrument/Commercial ratings, I will be flying a variety of aircraft into several airports. Logbook Pro will ensure that I accurately keep track of my hours and budget. As a member of the Civil Air Patrol, there is a need to keep track of all pilot hours. I am going to recommend that the Enterprise Edition be incorporated into the organization. Once again thank you for such a wonderful product.

Just wanted to drop you a line about how great your software is. I recently changed over my 3 logbooks into your electronic version for an interview with Southwest Airlines. There was nothing really wrong with my old logbooks, but some hours and entries had been crossed out and re-added. I really wanted my logbook to shine for my interview. I printed out the 10 years of flying in a page format with totals on each page. Used you report combiner and other tools. The person checking my logbook for Southwest was extremely impressed, and remarked that he had never seen a better presented logbook. Needless to say I got the job with Southwest.

Thanks so much for your speedy response. By the way, when I interviewed for a job with Northwest Airlink in Memphis, I used the flight time summary from the analyzer during my interview. They were very impressed with the breakdowns, and clarity. I got the job, and am now a First Officer on the SAAB 340. Thanks!

I have to tell you that Logbook Pro is the most fantastic program I’ve ever used. I’d kept a logbook in Excel for years, data all the way back to 1981, which was alright but the bigger it got the harder it was to handle. And printing was a nightmare. So, for the past several years I had looked for a logbook program that would import all the Excel data and get me started with a truly dedicated logbook program. But nothing I found worked well, and nothing imported Excel files. Then I stumbled onto Logbook Pro. The demo did not allow me to import, but after running it for a few days and experiencing the sheer power of the program I knew the full version would be a seamless import. So I bought it. VOILÀ! Twenty years of complicated data was into the Logbook Pro in a matter of hours. The reports are beautiful, a Jeppesen perfect printout, perfectly totaled, just beautiful.

Wow, what a wonderful product. I have been looking and researching for a computer logbook for some time now. I have truely found a powerful tool and resource to help keep me organized. I bought Logbook Pro back in 1999 after I had been flying for the Marine Corps for 6 years. I knew that I needed to start taking a more organized approach to my flight time as I realized my desire to become an airline pilot.
I purchased v1.7 online and paid for the unlock code. After a long weekend of entering in 6 years worth of flying from my military logbook, I was finally finished!
One thing I noticed in very short time was the number of mistakes I had in my logbook that had carried over from year to year.
Logbook Pro allowed me to cross-check my totals and check for errors in minutes.
In putting together my applications for the airlines, as I was getting ready to transition from the military, I found the Logbook Pro enhanced my applications by way of the professional reports that can be printed.
In Feb of 2001, I started as a Flight Engineer with a major US Airline.
One final note: The customer support is nothing short of exceptional. I sent in an email to the support center on a Saturday morning to help with a problem I had with transferring my logbook from my old laptop to a new one. I finally bought your service and it is more than you said it was. I downloaded the demo and after a couple of entries I knew I needed it.
A fantastic program that one can really personalize. Still working settng up parmeters. Still logging in 28 years of logbook. Thanks. I originally thought the product was too expensive, but not so. I also bought the palm download and will synchronize with the palm all the time. Have tried it

Keeping a logbook with the correct information can be a time consuming job. Now with the combination of Logbook Pro and Airline Pilot's Logbook for my Palm Pilot, keep my flight times up to date as easy as 1-2-3.
I am able to keep a copy on my laptop, one printed copy in my safety deposit box, and one at my online storage locker. Never before have I felt as secure with my Logbook information.
When I interviewed with the Airline I fly for, they could not say enought nice things about how neat and professional my logbook appeared. With my Logbook Pro and MGOent. Leather cover and paper I now have a logbook that is not only easy to read, but I have confidence in its accuracy.

I'm a former Air Force pilot now flying commercially and with the Air National Guard. I started using Neal's software in 1999 after an enormously painful (and messy) attempt to integrate my military and civilian time in a pen and ink logbook. After a week of using Logbook Pro, I literally tossed out two brand new Jeppesen logbooks I had just bought. With this program, there was simply no need to keep them any longer.
While I'm extremely satisfied with every aspect of this software, I have to tell you about one feature specifically, because it alone is worth the purchase price if you are filling out airline applications. Anyone who has done more than one of these knows what a monumental pain it is to manually separate several thousand hours of flight time into the different categories each different airline wants to see. PIC turbine. PIC night. PIC instrument. PIC multi. PIC high performance. Hours logged on Tuesdays in a blue airplane. And so on.
Since leaving active duty, I've logged time in many different types of aircraft, from single engine piston to multi turbine to helicopter, and if I had to go back and fill out an airline app with manually calculated totals, I think I would shoot myself. Luckily I don't have to, because Logbook Pro allows you to break out your time however you want to, and it literally does it in seconds.
There are too many other useful features to describe here, including a lot that I haven't even used yet. I can't say enough good things about this software. Neal, I am a thoroughly satisfied customer. Thanks for putting out a great product.

I have to tell you that this program is the BEST that I have ever tried, BELIEVE ME I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL. I had a small problem printing the Log Book but with your help my LOG BOOK NEVER LOOKED MORE PROFESSIONAL, between the Leather Cover and the color of the pages, WOW. I find that logging time is very easy with either format choosen. All the options available are great... I am now in the process of looking to pirchase either a Palm PC or HP Pocket PC (still undecided), and will be purchasing not only that add-on but most others also. I am in the process of teaching my son how to fly, and we will be using this GREAT PRODUCT FOR YEARS TO COME. Thank You Todd R. Erickson

I am a relatively new user of both Logbook Pro and APDL, and these products have really simplified my life. On trips, I have the option of entering each flight as I complete it, or catching up at the end of the trip. Either way, my time transfers perfectly to Logbook Pro. When it came time to interview with America West, I printed up separate custom logbooks for both airlines I had flown for. I brought these pages (along with some nice cover sheets) down to Kinkos and had them print them front-to-back and had them spiral bound. Remember to sign all the pages! All of this went over very well at the interview, and I'm in training now for AWA. All we have to figure out, Neal, is how to Sync my PDA with the Airbus!! Thanks for the great software.

Ever get tired of having to figure out your flight time at a new FBO for insurance purposes. Well now you don't, with this program you will have everythng that has ever been asked, along with graphics and breakdowns. I was tired of having to do this and had been looking for a logbook software that would keep up with my currencies and let me know what the breakdown of my hours were for like tailwheel, high performance etc. The hardest part is when you have accumulated 1500 hours is having to go back and reenter the information from the logbooks. Oh! but what memories are rekindled.
I would definately recommend this software to anyone and it is easy to input and understand unlike others that I have tried.
It adds to your professionalism as well.
It is well worth the cost!!!!

I just finished eighteen years, seven logbooks and over eight thousand hours of data entry on my new Logbook Pro software. Wow! Every once in awhile you buy something that exceeds your expectations! Logbook Pro did that for me. The truth of the matter is that I am a brand new computer user and I bought the software as a way to learn computers. It has certainly done that for me. I did have a little turbulence along the way but the tech support was always there to help me out and right now! The big bonus for me was and is that I now have all my flight time compiled and totaled and accurate and it's all neat and tidy. Very impressed, I have Logbook Pro, Professional on my desktop and laptop. I also have Airline Pilots Daily Log on my Palm. I download my flight pairings into APDL Palm, input actuals during my trips and by using single sync, everytime I sync the palm, my desktop LBP is updated. No additional time at home is spent updating my logbook which is what I've been trying to accomplish for years! The reports and options seem endless, everthing I need and more. First excuse the long post but I recently was lucky enough to achieve my career goal of being hired by a major airline, and in no small part was helped by using both Log Book Pro and Airline Pilot's Daily Aviation Logbook.
Although I started with another electronic logbook the usefulness of the LBP and APDL together made the investment extremely worthwhile. Transferring my other logbook to LBP was extremely easy and supported almost instantly through the support forum.
At my Regional job ADPL’s schedule import function and quick time entry allowed me to enter thousands of hours after every flight, instead of monthly or yearly like some of my paper logbook colleagues. Also on two occasions, by refusing changes to my schedule that would have taken me over 121 duty limitations, I was able to avoid violating FAR’s by using ADPL’s duty time functions
My greatest benefit from LBP and ADPL was when I received extremely short notice that my dream job company had unexpectedly started interviewing. Even though it was a Wednesday and I was on the road I was able to have my wife use the report functions and use the easily read data to fill the hour grids of the online application and update my resume. This allowed my resume to be submitted on Friday before the Director of hiring left for vacation . The following Monday I received a call for an interview that Wednesday. I immediately started printing my 300+ page Jeppesen format log book and had it spiral bound with a clear plastic cover and backing.
On the day of the interview, when asked for my logbook and other requested documents, the first comment from one of the interviewers was the professional presentation of my logbook. This broke the ice and lead to the discussion of electronic logbooks and LBP and ADPL. Both interviewers said they wished they had something like that when they started; and how my use of modern logbook programs would make my entry to the new “flying laptop airplanes” very easy if I was hired. Well I was hired and at the beginning of a wave. I will continue to use LBP and ADPL and will recommend it to anyone who asks.

For the past six years I have been flying for Great Lakes Airlines flying BE-1900's out of DEN. I fly about 1000 hours per year. I used a competitors electronic logbook for some time, that is until I found Logbook Pro(LBP) about two years ago. I downloaded the trial and loved it right off the bat.
The filters and pivot tables are priceless. Another product I started using was APDL (Airline PIlots Daily Logbook). At the time the two were not fully integrated. Now they are and what an unbeatable product they are together!
Recently I was lucky enough to get an interview with Frontier Airlines and of course they want to see your logbooks. I purchased a few of the MGOent old world binders and started printing off my logbook using the default template in LBP. Well, I ran out of room so I created a custom template with the font size being the only change.
In this process, every page had a line where I should sign. That is a lot of pages to sign! So, I posted a comment on the LBP Support page about a way of importing or changing the template so I could get a signature graphic there. About a day later, Neal C. sent me a trial version that let me print out the logbook pages with my signature on it. A few tweaks later increasing the print area of the graphic and I had my logbooks done. Talk about amazing support, both of the product and the customer!
The day of my Frontier interview, I showed up in my new suit and my new logbooks. The first part of my interview was the panel interview; at this one person looks at your logbooks. He handed them back to me and said "these logbooks are very nice!"
One week later I got hired by Frontier as a First Officer and I'm 100% sure that the professional logbooks helped out.
My best advice for those of you starting out, or those of you who do not have a lot of entries yet. Get electronic using Logbook Pro. It saves you time filling out applications and it makes you look good when you get the interview.

I was leary of getting the logbook system since there would be no signatures in the log. However, last week at my interview with Mesaba, the chance paid off. The pilot interviewing me was very impressed with the professionalism of the "Full Size Carry Model". All the information was laid out as a traditional Jepessen log. Best of all; the numbers all added up! In the end...he never did look at the traditional logs.
